Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 17, 2026

MarkApp is a marketing reporting platform for agencies and businesses. It connects to data sources you already have permission to access — such as Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console — and turns that data into simple, client-ready marketing reports.

This policy explains what data MarkApp accesses, how it is used, how it is stored, and the choices available to you. It applies to the MarkApp website and to authorized MarkApp workspaces.

Information We Collect

MarkApp collects and processes the following categories of information:

  • Account and workspace information: name, email address, and workspace details needed to operate an authorized MarkApp workspace.
  • Connected integration data: reporting data accessed through Google APIs (and other reporting sources, when enabled) after a user authorizes the connection.
  • Basic usage information: information needed to operate and secure the service, such as login activity and error logs.

Google API Data Usage

MarkApp may use Google Sign-In to authenticate users, and allows authorized agency users to connect Google services that they already have permission to access, including Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console when enabled for their workspace.

When a user connects Google Analytics, MarkApp may access read-only reporting data such as users, sessions, page views, traffic channels, top pages, engagement metrics, and website button click events. This data is used only to generate client-ready marketing reports inside the authorized MarkApp workspace.

When a user connects Google Search Console, MarkApp may access read-only search performance data such as clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position, top queries, and top pages. This data is used only for marketing reporting.

Google Business Profile is not part of MarkApp today. If support for Google Business Profile reporting is added in the future, this policy will be updated before that integration becomes available.

MarkApp does not modify Google Analytics data, does not modify Search Console properties, does not manage advertising campaigns, and does not sell Google user data.

MarkApp does not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, personalized ads, or unrelated purposes.

MarkApp's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to theGoogle API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data Storage and Retention

MarkApp stores selected reporting metrics and integration metadata needed to generate historical marketing reports. OAuth tokens, when stored, are used only to refresh authorized read-only reporting access and are not exposed to clients or public report viewers.

Users may disconnect integrations from their workspace at any time. Workspace owners or authorized administrators may request deletion of workspace data by contacting support at [email protected].

How We Use Information

MarkApp uses the information described above to:

  • Generate marketing reports inside an authorized workspace.
  • Operate, maintain, and secure the MarkApp service.
  • Provide customer support and respond to requests.
  • Communicate about the service, such as account or integration status.

MarkApp does not sell personal information or Google user data, and does not use connected reporting data for advertising or unrelated purposes.

Data Sharing

MarkApp does not sell personal information or data obtained through Google APIs. Data may be shared with service providers that help operate the platform (such as hosting infrastructure), under obligations to protect that data, or when required by law.

Client-facing report links display report content configured by the workspace owner and do not expose raw account credentials, OAuth tokens, or unrelated workspace data.

Security

MarkApp uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect the information it processes, such as restricting access to authorized personnel and systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and MarkApp cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

You can disconnect a connected Google integration from your workspace at any time. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, contact support at [email protected].

Changes to This Policy

MarkApp may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
